Today we felt like some good old Italyan cuisine so found a pizzeria and had pizza and salad at Eld Pizzeria in Reykjavik.
It was very good.

Day 2 - Storm has arrived
We are now complete.
We went to pick up Storm earlier today.
She started first time and has already ridden the first miles on Icelandic soil. Here is the very first Spot message on the Land of Fire and Ice.
Day 2 - Breakfast
Decided to go to local supermarket and buy some food and have breakfast in our apartment.
Day 1 - Our apartment in Reykjavik
Decided for an apartment as we will be here 3 nights. Very central and if lucky with free parking on the street.
We do recommend staying in the centre as one can walk anywhere and see the action.
It is not cheap though. Actually one has to totally forget other reference systems, as standard of living here is very high and everything is expensive compared to other parts of the world.

Most of this day was spent traveling but as we arrived at about 6:30pm in Reykjavik and there was sun until at least 12am (time we went to bed), we still had time to take some shots.
It is a different place from everything we have seen before and hopefully we have been able to do it justice ...

Day 1 - What a butter !
If you ever come to Iceland have the whipped Icelandic butter with lava salt.

Day 1 - Amazing views
Today as we arrived in Reykjavik we saw a beautiful church, so we left our bags in our hotel and walked to it to take some pics.
It is called Hallgrímskirkja.
We then went inside and took some interesting pics
But the highlight was to go up the tower and see Reykjavik the way the seagulls see it ...
Day 1 - We have arrived
We are here and it feels very Nordic ;-). Like Finland.
