Today, Tuesday 23 June 2015, spent a number of hours planning the trip.
Many people and lots of websites have contributed giving me information about their travels and would like to thank them. Here are some of them:
Sara Pedersen - Sara and her husband Daniel are Canadian have been on the road now for 1097 days. On this specific day they seem to be camping somewhere off-road close to Abaer on the North side of Iceland. Here is their blog
Carlos Azevedo - Carlos is A compulsive traveller and one of the founders and tour leader at Motoxplorers. He has travelled extensively in Iceland where he has led many tours.
Filipe Elias - Filipe has been working for many years In the motorcycle world in Portugal organizing a number of events (eg. Dakar). He is representative of Touratech in Portugal and also has his own company in Coimbra, Espaços Sonoros.
Nuno Coutinho - Nuno is a fellow motorcycle rider that is going on a tour (by car) to Iceland at the end of July and shared some othe things they are doing
Smyril Lines - this is the company that operates the ferrys between Denmark and Iceland and have a number of self-driving tours in their websites
Advrider - always a favorite of mine to read about adventures of others on motorcycles. Also great to see the fabulous pics that are taken during these rides.
